NEW DELHI: The annual cricket tournament IPL 2018 is about to end and the finals will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. In order to cash in on the occasion, Reliance Jio has introduced a new add-on pack for those who plan to watch the finals while on the go. The add-on pack is valid for the period of four days from May 25 to May 28 and offers 8GB of 4G data.
This new pack from Reliance Jio is a complimentary add-on pack and is priced at Rs 101. The plan offers 2GB data daily and if any user exhausts the daily limit of 2GB then also they will be able to access the internet at a reduced speed of 64Kbps. Users must keep in mind that this is only an add-on plan and it does not offer any calling or SMS benefits.
This new add-on plan from Reliance Jio is available for all the Jio users. In order to check whether you are eligible for it or not, then you have to go to the MyJio app and head towards the My Plans section within the app.
Recently, it was reported that Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio is leading the Indian telecom market with a net addition of 9.42 million users in March. After this addition, the total subscriber base of the telco reaches 186.56 million. The telco was closely followed by Idea Cellular and Bharti Airtel that added 9.14 million and 8.4 million subscribers, respectively, according to monthly subscriber report of telecom regulator, Trai, released today.
State-run telco BSNL added 2.56 million new customers.
